After PCS’ing to Hill Air Force Base in early 2021, I found myself captivated by the fighter jets roaring past my doorstep. What began as a hobby—learning to photograph aircraft—quickly became a way to feel more connected to the mission I support every day as a civilian Airman.

As my skills grew, so did my perspective. I began branching out, capturing not just the jets and the mission, but the people behind them. Today, I photograph military weddings, homecomings, and family moments—honoring the resilience, love, and sacrifice woven into military life. Whether it’s a couple exchanging vows before a deployment or a family savoring time together between TDYs, I aim to preserve the emotion and strength that define these experiences.

Through photography and media, I share the stories of our Airmen, our jets, and the families who stand behind them—bringing visibility, connection, and heart to the mission we all serve.

The person not in a uniform, that's me! Squadron Officer School Class 25C Flight F65

Outside of photography, I serve as a Contracting Officer for the United States Air Force—a role that demands precision, integrity, and a deep commitment to the mission. When I’m off‑duty and off‑base, my focus shifts to the work that fills my weekends with my "why". I dedicate my Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to capturing milestones, supporting military families, and exploring Utah's beauty. I run my business with the same level of care and professionalism I bring to my day job, ensuring every client receives an experience that’s thoughtful, reliable, and wholeheartedly supported.

Where I'm located: Utah

(But the mission can take me anywhere!)

I hail from New England, growing up in Connecticut and graduating college in Massachusetts. Hill AFB, located in the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah, is where I currently call home. Hill has plenty of aircraft to keep me busy (and awake). I often travel to other bases nationwide to shoot combat exercises and air shows.

A little about me

Who is Audrey?

Mission-driven and mountain-hearted, I live through my lens—documenting love, wildlife, the mission, and the moments that matter. I bring my camera everywhere, inspired by Utah’s rugged beauty and the strength of the airmen I interact with each day. Photography is how I connect, create, and honor the stories unfolding around me.

Introducing: Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong

My husband Jake plays an important part in my photography business, bringing a calm, friendly presence that families and kids instantly connect with. He’s my right‑hand helper on sessions, always ready to lend support, wrangle little ones, or spot the perfect moment unfolding. Lately, he’s been diving eagerly into learning both photography and videography, adding new skills that enrich the experience we’re able to offer together.
